Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidate must be a Citizen of India and a Domicile of West Bengal, having resided uninterruptedly for the last 10 years or whose parents are permanent residents of West Bengal. A Domicile Certificate from a Competent Authority is required.
  • Must have passed the "10+2" examination (passed in both Theory & Practical separately) from any Recognized Board in Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology & English).
  • Minimum aggregate marks: 45% for General and EWS, and 40% for SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B/PwD.
  • Candidates claiming admission in a reserved category must produce a relevant certificate. An invalid certificate will result in a loss of opportunity for admission in that category.
  • Candidates must be medically fit for the course and must produce a Medical Fitness Certificate as per the format provided by WBJEEB.

Admission Procedure

  1. Online Application: Register at the official website of WBJEEB and apply for the "Common Joint Entrance Test for JENPAS (UG)" by filling out the online application form and paying the examination fees.
  2. Counseling Registration: The candidate must complete the online counseling process by registering, followed by selecting their preferred Nursing Institutes in order of priority (Choice Filling) and confirming their selections (Choice Locking).
  3. Rank Card & Counseling: Candidates who qualify for the JENPAS (UG) Entrance Examination must download their Rank Card and follow the official counseling schedule.
  4. Seat Allotment & Admission: Upon "Seat Allotment," the candidate must pay the Online Seat Acceptance Fees, download the "Seat Allotment Letter," and physically report to the allotted institution with all Original Documents and Xerox for documents verification and complete the Admission Procedure.

  • Domicile Certificate issued by Competent Authorities as per proforma provided.
  • Aadhaar Card
  • Medical Fitness Certificate signed by Registered Medical Officer (with all Original reports)
