Hands-on Learning for Practical Excellence in Nursing
The Nursing Foundation Lab is a spacious and well-equipped area where students practice basic nursing procedures on life-sized manikins before working with real patients. This hands-on training helps build their confidence and ensures they learn essential nursing skills in a safe, controlled environment.
The lab is designed to look like a real hospital ward, with 10 beds and various manikins for practicing different procedures—including one dedicated to CPR training. Instructors first demonstrate each procedure clearly, and then students perform the steps themselves, using a checklist to guide them through the process.
In the Anatomy & Physiology Lab, students gain a strong foundation in understanding the structure and function of the human body. The lab is equipped with a wide range of anatomical models, charts, preserved specimens, and skeletons that make learning more interactive and visually engaging.
Students explore various body systems—such as the skeletal, muscular, circulatory, respiratory, digestive, and nervous systems—by observing and working with these models. This hands-on approach helps them connect theoretical knowledge with real-life human anatomy and physiological processes.
The lab provides a supportive environment for students to practice identifying organs, tissues, and body parts, and to understand how the body works in health and disease. It plays a vital role in preparing students for clinical practice by strengthening their understanding of human biology.
